You can find our Schöneberg apartment south of Tiergarten park between the eastern and the western city centre.  In 10 minutes walking distance you'll find luxurious KaDeWe, Europe's largest department store, and some minutes later Zoo station and Kurfürstendamm boulevard. In a similarly short time you can walk to Kulturforum (Philharmonie, Nationalgalerie and Staatsbibliothek). Next to Kulturforum there are the &dbquo;Neue Mitte“ (&dbquo;New Centre“=Potsdamer Platz), Brandenburger Gate and Reichstag, the entrance doors to the eastern city centre.
 
And if you are looking for one of the most popular &dbquo;Kiez“ of Berlin: pubs, restaurants, shops, and much more, you are in the middle of it, already. Because literally around the next corner there is Winterfeldt square, with all its street life and with a wonderful, famous market, as well.
