The apartment is situated in a quiet street close to the city's western centre and about 150 m from Savignyplatz S-Bahn station, itself one short stop from Bahnhof Zoo, the long-distance train station for the west of Berlin.
The area is one of the most interesting in western Berlin. The apartment is surrounded by a huge variety of
restaurants and cafes and a similarly wide range of unusual shops large and small, new and old. Savignyplatz, for example,
has long been known for its excellent selection of antique book shops. Kurfürstendamm, the western citys famous boulevard, is only a few minutes walk away.

consists of living room (22.5 m²), bedroom (8.5 m²), hallway, kitchen and bathroom. It has recently been fully renovated, redecorated and newly furnished. The wooden floorboards
have been stripped and treated with organic hard oil (a natural alternative to
varnish). The bathroom (with bath and shower) and the kitchen (which includes a dining corner) have been fully renovated. The living room includes a separate bedroom area, a dining area and a sitting area with cable TV and stereo. The bedroom section is soon to be extended to include an upper storey.
